The Ningxia Art Museum in Yinchuan opened on Dec 26. The state-of-the-art facility, built with an investment of 320 million yuan ($43.84 million), spans an impressive 30,000 square meters and integrates collections, exhibitions, research, and education.
The museum, distinguished by its modern design, features 10 spacious exhibition halls, each approximately 500 square meters. It also includes facilities dedicated to collections storage, public education, and academic research.

The museum prioritizes visitor comfort and accessibility, offering well-equipped public spaces such as reading areas, educational zones, exhibition spaces, and reception rooms. These areas are furnished with seating, reading tables, educational materials, projection equipment, a digital guide system, clear signage, storage lockers, and hot and cold water supplies. Sanitary and accessibility features ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors.
To celebrate its grand opening, the museum has curated five major exhibitions, providing a rich and diverse cultural experience.
