The 2025 "Welcoming Spring with Books – Celebrate Chinese New Year at the Library" series, hosted by the Ningxia Library and the Ningxia Library Association, officially launched on Jan 19, offering a vibrant blend of cultural and modern activities.
The cultural market was a lively centerpiece, combining intangible cultural heritage products with book displays. Visitors marveled at the craftsmanship, from traditional handmade items to innovative creations, each reflecting a deep cultural imprint.
In the calligraphy section, masterful strokes filled the air with the scent of ink, producing elegant Spring Festival couplets and "Fu" characters to share blessings and festive cheer.

Cultural workshops brought ancient skills to life as artisans demonstrated their techniques and guided participants in crafting traditional items. These hands-on experiences offered a glimpse into the beauty of Chinese culture and its enduring legacy.
Interactive activities like DIY projects and the creative "Book Face" photo challenge were also crowd favorites. Attendees captured seamless book-themed photos and printed unique designs on red envelopes, enlivening the mood.
Another highlight was the fusion of tradition and technology in the VR and 3D printing zones.
