Thirty companies from Ningxia showcased more than 200 premium products at the fifth China International Consumer Products Expo in Haikou, Hainan province, on April 13.
The expo, the largest consumer goods fair in the Asia-Pacific region, opened with participation from over 1,700 companies and 4,100 consumer brands from 71 countries and regions.
The Ningxia pavilion drew significant attention with its diverse range of products, including wines, organic goji berry products, eight-treasure tea, and Tan sheep meat.
Zhang Ning, sales director of Berbyl (China) Wolfberry Co, expressed enthusiasm about the expo, saying, "We have brought high-value products like fresh goji berries and goji berry puree. Through this prestigious platform, we aim to showcase the benefits of Ningxia goji berries and increase global awareness."

For the first time, the expo included a New Consumer Technology section, where Ningxia companies demonstrated their innovative spirit. Goji berry puree features nano freshness technology, and eight-treasure tea is paired with smart brewing equipment, blending traditional characteristics with modern technology to create new interest.
Since the inaugural expo in 2021, Ningxia has participated for five consecutive years, increasing its brand influence from the "Land of Goji Berries" and "Land of Tan Sheep" to the "World Wine Capital".
Fu Yi, director of the Exhibition and Trade Promotion Department of the Ningxia Department of Commerce, highlighted the event's strategic importance, "We aim to use the expo to capture consumer demand and market opportunities, promoting products like wines and Ningxia goji berries internationally while helping foreign trade companies explore domestic sales channels."
