Under Helan Mountain at the Bairuiyuan Orchard, the Ningxia goji berry harvest festival was grandly inaugurated on Sunday, marking the official start of the first goji harvest season for the area.
Visitors handpicked berries and indulged in goji delicacies, parent-child fruit-picking activities, and photography.
The orchard's opening was celebrated through a blend of livestreaming and immersive experiences. The opening ceremony attracted numerous tourists, merchants from around the country, and residents of nearby Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui autonomous region.

The event also featured a ceremony for the release of aphid parasitoids — tiny wasps that lay their eggs into the bodies of live aphids. The insects are part of the region's initiative to use natural pest control methods, effectively covering aphid control for goji berries, greenhouse vegetables, and other crops. This approach keeps the goji berries safe and helps ensure that the industry remains green and sustainable.

Ningxia Bairuiyuan has launched goji berry gift boxes to market the brand. Picking begins at 5 am daily, and customers across the country will receive their orders within 48 hours.
