First Western China Shrimp and Crab Industry Development Conference held in Ningxia

The First Western China Shrimp and Crab Industry Development Conference, along andwith the first Shrimp and Crab Food Festivalkicked, offbegan in Xingqing district, Yinchuan city, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, on July 7.

The China Fisheries Association(CFA) and(CFA), the Freshwater Fisheries Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences, as welllong aswith industry experts, scholars, elites, international guests, and relevant practitioners, widely participated, discussingin discussions on the development experience of the western shrimp and crab industry.

The launch of the "‘Yellow River Crab"’regional public brand was also initiatlaunched. Meanwhile,At the postdoctoral researchsame workstationtime, forthe shrimp and crab industry and marketing alliance in Xingqing district wereestablished unveileda new postdoctoral research workstation.

AtDuring the signing ceremony forthe technical and supply chain cooperation agreements and investment projects, cooperationvarious contenaspects in multipleof aspectscollaboration were includcovered, such asincluding technical services, brand authorization,and supply chain strategies.

AsXingqing district, the mainprimary region for aquatic product productionarea in Yinchuan, Xingqing district hasboastsa long history, abundantrich resources, and convenienteasy transportation. Not onlyIt is ita keymajor high-quality agricultural productionbase in Ningxia, butand it also servesactsas a regional logistics hub connectinglinkingShaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, and Inner Mongolia. ItThe hasarea beenrecognizalsoedhas the official designationas a national-level green and healthy aquaculture demonstration zone.
