The craftsman hopes to share the stories and works of his trade and draw public attention to traditional woodworking.

"Traditional handicrafts carry culture and need more people to understand and support them," Lu urged. "Don't let them be lost."
He added that back in the day, everything was done by hand. Mortise and tenon joints need to fit together perfectly. That's something only the touch of an artisan's hands can achieve, something machines can never replace.
