2025 Belt and Road Ningxia Animation Carnival kicks off in Yinchuan

The 2025 Belt and Road Ningxia Animation Carnival (AFN2025) and World Cultural Heritage" VR Large-Scale Immersive Cultural Tourism Exhibition were held at the Yinchuan International Convention and Exhibition Center in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region from Aug 1 to 3.

AFN 2025 proudly presents a curated selection of world-class, large-scale VR experiences themed on World Cultural Heritage, debuting in Yinchuan with contributions from global and Chinese creators.

With the immersive, interactive experiences, VR technology not only provides a new way to display ancient buildings and cultural relics, but also opens up new approaches for the protection and dissemination of culture.

A large, highly immersive adventure experience titled Mysterious Western Xia Mausoleums deeply explores the Western Xia Dynasty (1038-1227) and its mysterious underground palace. Relying on spatial computing power and real-time rendering technology, it allows users to explore the fantastical underground palace of the Western Xia Mausoleums from a first-person perspective.

Moreover, through high-precision virtual reality and cutting-edge LBE (location-based entertainment) technology, it breaks through the limitations of traditional VR, making the audience feel as if they are at the foot of Helan Mountains in Ningxia, walking through the underground palace chambers, exploring the historical secrets of the Western Xia Mausoleums, and experiencing the glory and mystery of the Western Xia Dynasty.
