A total of 11 metric tons of high-purity liquid ammonia from Ningxia Tonghui Gas, located in Zhongwei city, Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, were exported to India after inspection by Zhongwei Customs on Sept 19. This is the first time that the autonomous region has exported high-purity liquid ammonia products.
High-purity liquid ammonia is mainly used in semiconductor manufacturing, the solar power industry and display panel manufacturing. The export batch this time will be mainly used to make products related to the photovoltaic industry.
Ningxia Tonghui Gas, a major private enterprise specializing in the production of carbon dioxide and high-purity liquid ammonia, has built the first metal ion laboratory in Northwest China, filling a technical gap in the field of ultra-pure ammonia products in Northwest China.
The export consignment this time is regarded as an important metric for the company to further optimize its resource allocation, enhance product value and bolster its industrial upgrading.
