The High-quality Development Conference and Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Founding of Yinchuan University of Science and Technology were held on Oct 18 in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
The university was established in 2005 as Yinchuan College of China University of Mining and Technology. In May 2021, it was officially renamed.
Committed to the mission of "cultivating talent for the Party and the country", the university has stayed true to the local and applied education program and closely coordinated with Ningxia’s industrial development strategy since its establishment 20 years ago.
Over 43,000 graduates in several majors have graduated from the school, providing solid talent support for the development of the regional economy.
The university has been praised as the "National Advanced Unit for Aesthetic Education in Colleges and Universities", "National Characteristic School of National Defense Education" and "Excellent Institution of Private Higer Education in China", as well as has received recognitions such as "Advanced Unit of Quality Program in Colleges and Universities", demonstrating its distinctive education characteristics and splendid achievements in fostering talents.
Teacher representative Shen Jia shared her teaching experiences and principles at the conference.
Representatives of China University of Mining and Technology said that the two universities will deepen cooperation and inject new energy into regional development in the future.
