On May 19, the Ningxia Hui autonomous region held a meeting in the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center to promote the upcoming 5th China-Arab States Expo and Ningxia's wine-producing region in the East Helan Mountain area. Chongqing was invited to serve as one of the theme provinces (municipalities/cities) of the 5th China-Arab Expo.
The 5th China-Arab States Expo will be held in Yinchuan, Ningxia, from August 19 to 22, 2021, said Lai Jiao, vice-chairman of the people's government of the Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
Ningxia and Chongqing, both located in the western region of China, have maintained close and frequent exchanges, Lai added. Chongqing is an important hub of the new land-sea channel, and Ningxia is an important commercial port on the northern line of the eastern section of the ancient Silk Road.
We hope Chongqing will serve as an efficient platform to strengthen economic and trade exchanges, as well as cooperation, at this year's China-Arab States Expo, and will work together to open up the markets in Belt and Road countries, including Arab countries.
During the event, participants will enjoy special wine and meat produced by Ningxia and the two sides will conduct in-depth discussions on the quality, dealership, and sale of the characteristic products of Ningxia.
