As part of the fifth China-Arab States Expo, the 2021 China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference and the 2021 China-Arab States Leisure Tourism Forum will be held both online and offline in Yinchuan, capital city of northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region, and Beijing simultaneously on August 18.

Cai Ju, deputy head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, made the remarks during a press conference held in Yinchuan on August 13.

Cai noted that the 2021 China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference and the 2021 China-Arab States Leisure Tourism Forum have been designed to build a cooperative platform to spur the recovery of the global tourism industry and to achieve the shared and mutually beneficial development of domestic tourism sectors, while also providing a strong stimulus for Ningxia in the high-quality development of its tourism industry.

According to Cai, the opening ceremony of the 2021 China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference will be convened in the main venue in Ningxia, while the 2021 China-Arab States Leisure Tourism Forum will be staged in the parallel venue in Beijing.

A number of leading Chinese experts and business representatives from the sector of leisure tourism will be invited to hold thematic discussions on the reshaping of destinations in China and Arab countries in the era of the digital economy.

Meanwhile, the 2021 China-Arab States Tourism Industry Investment & Financing Conference and the 2021 China-Arab States Healthcare & Tourism Exhibition, two parallel events of the 2021 China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference and the 2021 China-Arab States Leisure Tourism Forum, are scheduled to be held in Yinchuan on the same day.

During the 2021 China-Arab States Tourism Industry Investment & Financing Conference, organizers will hold multiple activities like program promotion gatherings, experts' judgments, and contract signing ceremonies, to help domestic financial institutes and tourism firms have a better understanding of cultural and the tourism programs in Ningxia. They are also designed to accelerate the building of long-term mechanisms for the coordinated and high-quality development of cultural and tourism industries, as well as to foster a host of Ningxia-based cultural and tourism firms and brands.

In addition, an exhibition on the development of the healthcare and tourism sectors in Ningxia will be presented in the exhibited area of the medical and health industry during the fifth China-Arab States Expo.

The opening of the 2021 China-Arab States Tour Operators Conference and the 2021 China-Arab States Leisure Tourism Forum will further accelerate the implementation of the cooperative programs concerned, increase their economic benefits, improve their quality, and utilize the influence of demonstration cases to promote the popularity of local health and tourism products in an innovative way.

The upcoming events will draw the attendance of ministerial-level officials from China, Egypt and Morocco, as well as foreign ambassadors to China, business representatives of leading domestic online travel agencies like Ctrip, Tongcheng-Elong, Fliggy and Mafengwo, delegates from major Chinese in-bound tourism firms and financial institutes, and experts in the sector of tourism either online or offline.
