The 5th China-Arab States Expo was successfully held in Yinchuan, Ningxia, from August 19 to 22, 2021.
Kim Ok-chae, Secretary-General of the Association of North East Asia Regional Governments, said that in order to develop sustainable exchanges and cooperation, it is not enough to only emphasize the promotion of exchanges in goods, capital and services.
"There are differences in political systems and ideologies among countries in North East Asia. While acknowledging the differences, we should follow the spirit of equality and mutual benefit, respect each other, and constantly promote friendly, heart-to-heart exchanges between the people", Kim said.
He added that with the promotion of "heart-to-heart exchanges", trade, investment, tourism and other industries will naturally flourish. Under this principle, the international exchanges being promoted in Ningxia will surely achieve greater results and development.
