Zhao Qingfeng, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, works in a State-owned forest farm. This year, she is making the integrated development of State-owned forest farms in the interest of rural revitalization a priority.
Zhao said that the reformed State-owned forest farms are vital to the development of the forest economy, breeding industry and cultural tourism. However, there is still work to be done.
For example, the construction of infrastructure such as roads, water and electricity needs to be further strengthened.
Therefore, Zhao has proposed that rural infrastructure and public services should cover State-owned forest farms. She also called for implementing cooperative forestation and operation and entrusted management, and managing collective forests in an intensive and scientific way.
According to her, State-owned forest farms with improved infrastructure will also help drive rural revitalization, thus helping rural people achieve common prosperity.
