A truck train carrying BYD new energy vehicles recently departed from the Yinchuan Free Trade Zone in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region to Uzbekistan via Alashankou Port. The Yinchuan Free Trade Zone is helping domestic vehicles to "go out" into countries along the Belt and Road.

According to Yinchuan customs, in the first quarter of 2022, a total of 358 domestic vehicles were inspected and released in the Yinchuan Free Trade Zone, with a value of 6.86 million US dollars.
The brands included BYD, Chery and GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Group). Three hundred and twenty-nine were fuel vehicles and 29 were new energy vehicles, and export destinations included countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
It is estimated that nearly 5,000 domestic vehicles with a value of about 90 million US dollars will be exported through the Yinchuan Free Trade Zone this year.
In order to help domestic automobiles to further develop foreign markets, the Yinchuan customs has been optimizing the port's business environment by establishing a "one-stop" customs clearance service mechanism to improve customs clearance efficiency and help the export of domestic vehicles to countries along the Belt and Road.
