The diversity of green agricultural products is a major advantage of Ningxia Hui autonomous region. In recent years, such products in Ningxia have included wine, beef and mutton and grain and oil as the main products, and dehydrated vegetables, seasoning, and beverages as the auxiliary products, thus covering all categories of food.
Next, Ningxia will focus on building 30 green food production and raw material bases, 15 organic agricultural product bases, and 80 modern agricultural standardized production bases covering the entire industry chain, and on cultivating 700 green, high-quality agricultural products.
It will further expand the application scope of green production and whole-process quality control technology to inject vitality into the development of the green agricultural product industry.
In addition, Ningxia plans to carry out demonstration and promotion of green production technology, and support universities, research institutes, and green production enterprises to strengthen cooperation.
Ningxia will strive to achieve a green, high-quality and efficient vegetable technology promotion rate of more than 70 percent within five years, and a coverage rate of green production technology for goji berries and wine grapes of 80 percent and 95 percent respectively.
In the next five years (2023-27), Ningxia will seize the development opportunities by leveraging its advantages in cultivating new varieties, and building green, high-quality agricultural product bases and supply systems, to build a green, high-quality and safe agricultural product zone and promote the high-quality development of modern agriculture in Ningxia.
