The China-Arab Energy Cooperation Forum will be held both online and offline from Aug 19 to 20 in Yinchuan, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, according to a press conference held on Aug 15.
Themed on "Facing the Future: Embracing the New Era of China-Arab Energy Cooperation", the forum aims to promote China-Arab cooperation in oil and gas and low-carbon energy based on the respective advantages of China and Arab countries in areas such as markets, technology and resources.

The forum, against the background of the global energy revolution and the development of green and low-carbon industries, advocates the deepening of China-Arab cooperation in the entire industry chain of oil and natural gas exploration, mining, refining, storage and transportation.
Meanwhile, based on future-oriented, mutually beneficial and friendly long-term China-Arab strategic energy cooperation, the forum promotes the building of a new China-Arab energy pattern featuring clean energy acceleration, deepening power cooperation, and nuclear energy development.

The forum expects the two sides to carry out further cooperation in solar energy, wind energy, hydropower and the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and to strengthen the construction of energy Internet-related fields and the commercial application of hydrogen energy and energy storage.
Officials from the National Energy Administration and the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, experts in the field of clean energy, academics from scientific research institutes and energy industry associations, and representatives of Chinese energy companies are expected to attend the forum.
Leaders of energy management departments in Arab countries, envoys of the League of Arab States to China, and representatives of key energy companies in Arab countries will be present.
During the forum, representatives of Chinese and Arab business leaders will deliver keynote speeches focusing on China-Arab energy cooperation and the development of clean energy. Domestic experts in the fields of electric power, renewable energy, nuclear power, hydrogen energy, and finance will share their insights about China-Arab energy cooperation.
