The China-Arab States Expo Business Summit is scheduled to be held on Aug 19 in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui autonomous region, focusing on trade and economic cooperation, according to a press release issued on Aug 16.
The summit will emphasize the digital economy and new energy and the basic principle of "consultation, contribution and shared benefits". It aims to strengthen strategic communication, build common ground for development, and contribute to high-quality cooperation within the China-Arab business circles.
The matchmaking session of the summit, with international and localized characteristics, will focus on Ningxia's major industries, including electronic information, new materials, goji berries, wine, and dairy, etc.
Three hundred delegates from ministries, provinces and municipalities, Fortune 500 companies, top 500 Chinese enterprises, and foreign business associations will attend the opening ceremony of the China-Arab States Expo and Business Summit.

Keynote speeches will be delivered by Long Yongtu, co-chairman of the Global CEO Conference, Zhang Weiwei, a professor at Fudan University, and other entrepreneurs from several leading companies in the digital economy and energy industry, including Huawei, Tencent, LONGi Solar, Baofeng Energy and Ajlan & Bros Holding Group.
They will share cutting-edge market information, the latest research findings and an annual development report on the China-Arab economic relationship.
The China-Arab States Expo Business Summit is a platform for the business community to improve economic ties. The summit has been successfully held three times. It is co-organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, League of Arab States Secretariat, the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, and the government of Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
